    Ranger 900 seat help

Hello all, I need some help. In order to install my new poly rear panel on my 900 I had to lift up and out on the back of the passenger seat in order to get to the bolt hole to tighten it. I can't for the life of me figure out how to lift the seat back to get it back in the grooves on the rear of the cab

    Thanks for the help!!

The passenger seat back has 3 T25 (torx) screws holding it on. Each is accessible via holes in the external plastic panel below the rear window. But be careful! Dropping the screws may result in a cussing fit. Suggest you instead put some grunt into it and warp, bend, or otherwise will the seat to lift enough.

Hmm... Might be 4 screws. I only remember 3, but the parts diagram shows 4
No matter, removing and especially replacing those screws is teh suck.

FYI The Polaris glass rear panel doesn't have this problem and installs and uninstalls in 15 seconds. Not joking.

Mine has 5 screws in it. The outside 4 have holes through the back to access them but the middle one doesn't. %#$*. Had to take the top of the back panel loose to get to it.

Edit: Redo. I just put my seat back in. It actually has 6 in it, 2 in the middle. Top one is hidden. I didn't put it in.

When I get teshreve money I will get the glass rear panel. And the tilt glass for the front.

I got the rear panel for a steal $150 brand new, so I couldn't pass it up. Better than nothing for now. But my upgrade plans are a stereo roof with front and rear glass. Gotta save some money. Start my new job on Monday.

Thanks to you both for the help

Steve-o, you don't have the adjustable driver's seat? I thought all the LE and/or PS and/or SE 900's came with that?
Anyways, I wish I didn't. Never use it and the mechanism is like 30 lbs. The seat is a tank!
But I'd still want the split bench and the "cut and sew" multi color jazz.

I was going to ask if their seat was fixed? I'm 5'10" and I like to be able to slide it forward. Easier to set my parking brake.

No I do but it still has them clips on the rear. I never use mine ether and my ole lady's legs are to short that even when adjusted she can't reach the pedals . That makes sence. Insert dunce hat here...
