    Oil dipstick tube relocate?

Now that I have to check & top off my oil with every ride the stock location of the dipstick is getting to be very annoying. Does anyone make a new tube that puts it in the wheel opening?

I tried just spinning it around but the problem with that is the opening ends up parallel to the ground so adding oil will be messy. It really just needs to be a little straighter but the tube seems a bit thick to try to bend it.

I was on a web site over the weekend that sells a relocation kit for the dip stick and it was like 60 bucks or something. I'll try to figure out where I found it and let ya know.

I had checked that one out but it looks like it uses the stock tube. I don't need to spend $69 to turn my tube around but the issue remains that a stock tube ends up being level with the ground.

I might be wrong--the picture is too dark to reveal anything. Maybe Bob can clear this up for me.

Yeah I know what your saying. It'll be interesting to hear some feedback. If I run across any others I'll post up.

That's a thought. You just bored a hole in the raised part of the access cover? I'm picturing a "peephole cover" sort of thing.

I just cut a hole in the cover behind the seats also and just slap a piece of black duct tape over it, works great! I wanted to make some sort of plug but where I had to cut it is right in a contoured part of the cover!
