How to use 6 - 8 volt batteries

I need to temporarily run my EV on 6 - 8 volt batteries from my golf cart. Thought I remembered seeing how to change the existing battery wiring to do this somewhere in this forum a few months ago, however, I have searched for hours and cannot find it.

Can someone point me in the right direction or show how to do this?

    Thanks in advance!

Typo here - I should have said 8 - 6 volt batteries. With that straightened out, any ideas on this?

To get the 48v necessary you would need to run all 8 6v batteries in series. You would not be able to run a series/parallel wiring to increase AH.

    + wire from controller ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ +6v- ~ - wire from controller

    6v + 6v + 6v + 6v + 6v +6v + 6v + 6v = 48v

Total AH is the same as a single battery AH.
    .
    Endurance will suffer.

DO NOT USE THE DELTA Q TO RECHARGE THE 6V BATTERIES.
