You could have the ECU reflashed to raise the limiter.

As Jerry said, get with a company like DDP to have the ECU Reflashed to raise the rev limiter. You don't want it completely removed as you may damage your engine. However, companies like DDP can reprogram it to a higher rev limit, but still stay within a safe range.

If you want more overall power, you can also consider getting a Cam, ported head, bored throttle body, fuel controller, and clutch kit from DDP. Your machine will really wake up then

I agree with the first two, a 7000 RPM ECU from someone like DDP will raise your rev limit, but to get real performance you will need to get rid of the stock cam. The cam will run out of power before you hit the new raised rev limit.

Where would someone around Dallas, TX get this done?

The stock soft rev limiter is 5900 and hard is 6100. THe crank will stay straight up to around 7000 RPMs. I had mine clutched their with my old cam that didnt make alot of torque. With my new cam I am round 6500 RPMs and it is fine.

THe Turbo guys running over 7000 RPMS weld the 2 halfs of the crankshaft together and they are good to 9K
