    Adjustment of parking brake

    Anyone know how to get some more "bite" outta the parking brake on 12 ranger? mine seems pretty weak! Thanks

    30" outlaw radials on diesel wheels
    3" HL lift kit
    Gorilla axles on rear
    HL steering stops
    extended front wheel tubs
    Rear spotlights
    GPS
    lock and ride boxes
    lock and ride gun scabbards

    warn winch

    lock and ride boxes

    If it is like my 10, there is a cable with an adjustment nut on the end. CW to tighten if I remember correctly. Get used to it because it is another terrible Polaris design and you will be doing it very often.

    Thanks where is the nut on the cable located?

    At the end were the brake pads are located under the bed on the drivers side.

    Perhaps the old fix will work: Nethawk's E-Brake Fix [url=http://www.prcforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=377] I don't know how new of machines this applies to. Clearances may be an issue.

    I put heavier brake pads on mine like Nethawk's plans use which worked great. At least until someone put the brake on too lightly and forgot to remove it when driving. Then it went back to same old, same old.

    On my 2010 if the park break handle is applied any amount at all , the electronics will produce a engine stutter to remined you it is on
    My life is an open book...Just aint many pages!!

    Shims (fender washers) help a bit also.
    If I remember right, I put them behind the plate that rides on the three bearing balls that apply the pressure.
