Protect your eyes when you're out on the trail
Nothing can ruin an awesome trail ride faster than getting something in your eye. Dust, dirt, mud, bugs and tree branches all seem to have a natural attraction to your eyes, especially if you’re not wearing goggles. Granted, you should always wear a helmet and goggles. While we’ve covered which helmets are the best out there, even on a budget, let’s take a few minutes to discuss wearing good goggles.
What makes a good goggle? For starters, they have to fit your face. If you’ve got a small head, or you’re buying a pair for your kids, youth goggles are the right size. If you wear glasses, get an OTG setup. Also vitally important is the foam. The foam makes the seal to keep dust and such out of your eyes. Weak foam lets dust in. And then there’s the lens. Scratch resistance is important. You can also pick different tints to help on sunny days. Taking all these factors, here are maybe the five best ATV goggles you can choose from for your off-roading fun.

A staggering amount of work and planning goes into hosting a race
Hosting an ATV or UTV race is much more involved than simply hanging some banners and throwing out a few course markers. Most ATV and UTV races take weeks of planning that culminate in a week long (or longer) effort to build and mark the actual racecourse itself. Everything from safety to scoring and even spectating is taken into consideration and we thought we’d give you the inside track on what all goes into putting on a top notch ATV or UTV race.
It’s worth noting that in a cross country or GP style event, there is typically a lot more work involved than a motocross event, for example. Most motocross tracks are considered closed courses and while the layout and some of the features might change over time, the basic flow and design of the track remains in tact. Most motocross tracks also run a host of events throughout the year so there is at least some level of ongoing maintenance occurring.

Organization provides off-road experiences to injured veterans
Polaris RZR, this Memorial Day, is partnering with Warfighter Made, a non-profit organization that supports ill, injured, and combat-wounded service members and veterans, with the RZR Salute to Heroes donation and giveaway campaign. The campaign is raising funds for the organization so they can continue to provide off-road experiences and customized vehicles to those injured while serving our country.
Starting today Polaris RZR is raising money in two ways, with 100 percent of the donations going directly to Warfighter Made. Those who donate through the RZR Salute to Heroes website will be entered to win one of 16 prizes from industry partners. Donors will also be eligible to win the grand prize, a custom military-themed RZR XP Turbo EPS built by the Diesel Brothers. Additionally, RZR will contribute $5 (up to $25,000) for every social media post that includes a picture of a RZR, a RZR Life story, and #RZRLife or #RZRSalutetoHeroes.
