LOL, I just replied to your PM from the 17th before I looked at the forum.
So everyone else will know, this was my reply:
Hey Rodney,
Sorry for the late reply. Things have been really busy with flood recovery at work and just general summer work around the house. I have a goal to have them all out by the end of August. Still a lot of work to do to get them ready. I hope everyone likes the final outcome.

Hey Dave, we appreciate the work that you are putting into this project. It's a shame we can't help you with it. Are you to the point that you wished you hadn't offered to do it yet?
Shelly was just asking me today if I had heard anything about the CD. so this is good timing.
I'm also curious when the date is for the fall rally? LOL _________________ Paul Wells

Not at all. I just wish everything else would settle down so I'd have time to work on them _________________

Yep, that is true. I should consider myself lucky with many others out of work and more lay offs coming... _________________

I don't know how bad it is where you live, but in north Ms. we have always been dependant on furniture and farming. The furniture factories that have suvived NAFTA are struggling to compete with chinese imports and laying off almost every week. Illegal workers are killing the farm hands. I'm lucky right now to be in a different line of work. maybe we'll all make it. Hang in there America. _________________ JOHN VANCE

I almost hate to stir this pot but I would like to let everyone that is waiting on their DVD where I am in the process.
It's been a little more involved than I thought it would be but I'm not complaining, it's just gonna take a little more time than I had planned. Good thing is, I have learned alot along the way
I started out with what I thought was all the pic's that people had donated for the slideshow. I forgot that between the 2 laptops and the external drive I had collected pic's on, I had more on the second laptop that I collected during the show. My original size for all the pic's was about 4 Gb. I can put up to 4.7Gb on a DVD. After I realized I had more to add the total was over 7Gb. Way over my size per DVD limitation.
After getting rid of many personal pic's and deleting videos, I'm now down to about 3000 pictures. Still way too big for one DVD. I've done some test trials on size and 640X480 pixels will look good on a TV but I'm in the process of resizing everything into 1024x768. That wil at least give a descent resolution if you want to print 4x6 photos. If you have a few you want full res. for, I can email them to you.
I'm also limited to one screen ratio with the software I'm using so even if you have an HDTV, the widescreen pic's will have bars at the top and bottom and will appear as a 4:3 ratio image.
Thanks for everone's patience! _________________

Oh, one other thing. Since there are so many pic's, I'd planned on chapterizing the DVD by the contributors PRC name. There'll be 25 chapters that way and you won't have to watch the whole DVD in it's entirety at once. If anyone who contributed doesn't want it that way let me know by PM and I will create anonymous chapter (or 2) .
Thanks,

Thanks for everyone's patience and confidence in me
Believe it or not, I've spent most of this evening creating a new resume`, first one in 18 years, but for a job equal to mine in the same company. I guess HR has to do something to justify their jobs. Sheez! _________________

Just Kidding Pal, I have put several DVD collages together with music and such and they do take an enormous amount of time and a big arse computer.
Thank you for doing this and like Johnny Bubu said, were still waiting for the 06 one.....LOL
