|
|
All the prizes were great at the 08 Rally but were they really necessary?
We decided to go before we even knew there was going to be any prizes, and do we really have to have a catered dinner what would be wrong with a pot luck meal. It's all about the get together.
One thing we don't want to do away with is Oneal's John Deere Ice Cream Freezer. LOL
My thought is simply if the rally were simpler it would be easier to put together and easier on the committee and I think we would all enjoy it just as much. I know a lot of people took home things that they really didn't need or even want.
And that's all I've got to say about that! (Forrest Gump's Line) _________________ Paul Wells

Paul,
Your comments are testimony (for me) how nice our event turned out.
Thank you,
PS- Though I agree with all your thoughts the PRC Event committee thorughly enjoyed everything we done. And even though we were worn out we were exchanging ideas to make the next event even better on our way home.
And yes, please come early to be part of the taste testing for ice cream mixes. _________________

Hey Neal, you can bet I'll be there early if there is any possible way. We really enjoyed the couple of days before the rally. The ice cream was fantastic second only to the fellowship.
You and your group did a fantastic job but I'd like to see all of you in your rangers on the trail with us instead of working your bunns off while we are out riding.
I'm like everyone else I'd sure like to know the date ASAP so I can make plans. _________________ Paul Wells
