Has anyone had experience using this system for snow?
Specifically, how does it do in deep (3 or 4 feet) powder; packed snow; how difficult to put on/take off?
I am considering buying these instead of a snow-mobile - but am reluctant until I hear some "real" thoughts by actual users.
Here is the link I found which got me thinking about it:
http://www.purepolaris.com/Detail.aspx?ItemID=2876001

Any thoughts?

I looked at those as well. To many down sides to consider spending the money. They are restricted to snow only! There is a company called Mattracks.com they are the real thing. They go anywhere! Check them out. There the only way to go for tracks.
