Neighbor just got the 2019 xp1000 crew and he has to try 5 or 6 times before it will turn over. Seems to work better when warmed up. Everything worked fine when "new". It is still under warranty but he has to get someone to take it in for him. He cussed the stealer up and down for the 150+ oil change and swore to never set foot in there again. Had bought three other machines there in the past and couldn't get over the 2qt oil and filter change price. I'm guessing a connection. Anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance!
Is it at least clicking or is it attempting to engage the starter and not getting the engine to turn over?
The latter is possible non working decompression and probably the worst case probability
Hard to believe that a new machine having battery connection corrosion issue as the ones I have seen are treated with some kind of corrosion suppressant but there could be something loose.
