I'm old, 66 this month, but I get up every morning and work all day at something. Last week it was lots of mechanical work on an Xterra this week it has been filling in a large hole, moving rocks, chipping wood for mulch and spreading it, putting rocks in my drainage ditches, cutting firewood and cutting brush and undergrowth, all this on the side of a very steep mountain with no heavy equipment. Come 11 PM I'm tired and heading for bed.

I'm 46 I have a 9 year old son and a 7 yer old grand daughter I take to school 5 days a week. For 25+ years I worked in an office, same building 3 different desks, be there by 7. I am up at 5 am no matter what, summer break, long vacation 5 am for me. So when 9;30 pm comes around......I am usually out like a light!
I do lots of my work before 9 am, that is the best time to run to town, move heavy things, clean shop and start working on trucks, etc.
Early bird gets the worm, more then 7 hours of sleep and you are spoiled LOL

I'm sorry but I retired after 26 years in the Army followed by another 20 years with Border Patrol. Now I get up just to mess with people and have fun doing whatever the tickles my fancy. Yesterday Ken and I did a nice 6 hour run at a basic slow pace. Did manage to keep the dirty side down barely, did a bit of three wheeling which scared the brown stuff out of me. Oh, I get up when I wake up generally betweet 5 & 7 AM and I am going to be 18 in June for the 4th time!

Freedom has a taste only those who have fought for it will ever know.

I think it was George Foreman that said the outside of a horse is good for the inside of a man. I miss horses. Got a couple horse sized dogs now.
