First off what a great site and friendly people. I picked up my 07 6x6 last saturday, Shoul i be worried about the belt? I have a 20month old that i would not want to break down and be eaten by black flies I will buy an extra belt and have the tools to change it. Will a ranger 6x6 fit in the back of an 03 chevy dually? and what tools will it take to change the belt on the side of the trail? thanx Ed

Ed,
Welcome to the forum. The 6x6 hasn't been experiencing broken mounts that I've heard of but that may be because there aren't as many sold. To be on the safe side get a spare belt (everyone should carry anyways, just like a snowmobile) and mount. Changing is easy, you just need to get the sealed cover off, and if you have the storage box on yours that'll need to come off also. Mine can be changed out in about 20 minutes or less in the feild, very easy and no tools required except for the cover removal. Oh yea, get a service manual, they're worth it.
