Hey, I am new on here as I just bought an 07 Ranger 700XP ten days ago. I have put 17 miles on it and under 2 hours. I was driving down a dirt road with my son hanging Keep Out signs on our land due to hunting season starting. It made a large clunking sound and stopped mving. It starts just fine, just will not move in any gear. The check engine light came on and I checked the code by turning in on and off 3 times. The code revealed 61, which I believe means end of diagnostic test. Hoping that maybe a belt just got tore up, but am a little upset because I have only used it three times and very little at that. Any input here would be great. Thanks.

I agree, check your belt. It may be dry rotted with so few hours on it.

There is 1800 miles on it total and about 200 hours. Not sure if that is a lot or not, did not seem like much to me when I looked at it. I will be checking the belt though.

Definitely sounds like a broken belt.

200 hours isn't much at all for an 07.
