Anyone know the specifics of the alternator on an 07 XP?

It puts out 500 watts.

Watts are one thing, amps is the other, divide 500w by 12v and that will give you how many amps...41.6 low in comparison to other alternator outputs.

Anyone know how much is leftover to run accesories? I put a stereo, amp and powered sub in one that has HID replacement headlights and 2 35watt HIDs and the charging system doesn't keep up when the fan is running. Actually the charging system doesn't seem to keep up with just the fan running. It is an 07 700.

I have done a lot of Rhino stereos, this was my first Ranger. It is amazing, you can actually hear the stereo when going 45 in this thing. At about 35-40 the Rhinos are to loud to hear anything.
