I have a Polaris ranger 4 seater that I bought used. The recent owner explained that it didn’t have compression on the driver side piston. I went ahead and bought a new fuel pump, injectors, spark plug wires and injector wire connectors. It starts up but I don’t have a compression tester it starts up but will die out as soon as I throttle it up. I did notice that there’s a lot of blowby coming out of the dipstick. I checked the cylinder walls, pistons and head. They show no signs of cracks. I’m wondering if it’s just wore through and needs a rebuild. Another thing is that I removed the cable cover and discovered that the head bolt on the driver side was stripped out. Help!
