Hello everyone newbie here from Arkansas. I have a 6x6 that has been setting in the garage that we dont use much. Well we are now a manufacturer and dealer or PAS lights and we want to make something a little different and thought why not just build this. Well what i am wanting to do is lift it, some wheels and tires and rear mounted seats, some audio and lights.

Now i do know that the front looks like every other ranger but not sure if they are the same.
The back axle is hard mounted to a pivot type swing arm with the same type of shock coil over.
The second axle uses what looks like the same type of independent suspension on a normal 4x4 ranger using the same type of coil over shock spring.

I am not looking for anything huge 3-4 inches maybe. I would like to move the rear axles back and thing i could with moving all the mounting locations back for the axle or building some sort of extension where it picots and only moving the upper shock/ spring mount. I think you could possible lift the whole thing by making new upper mounts for the strut/springs.

Has anyone ever done anything like this. I know i have seen some custom lifts on some newer models

Any help would be great.

:apologetic::apologetic::apologetic: From the lack of response to your inquiry on the 1999/2000 Polaris Ranger 6X6, you must have come to the conclusion that you are not to get any help to do your mods.I think the reason for this is that there was not much interest, at the time, in modifying some thing that worked, and there was not the demand for accessories for this type of machine, so no suppliers. I have a 2007 PR 6X6, and other than a 2" lift on the front end I have not needed to do any thing to the suspension, I have had the rear box changed, to give me more cargo room for extended trips, front window(glass), with wiper, diamond plate roof, and soft rear window, all so tracks, front and rear. This is the reason these machines are called the "MONEY PIT".
Attached is three JPGS of other 1999 PR 6X6, two in the USA. one in Canada.

curhoundhunter, my 2007 PR 6x6 is a 700-(683 cc). The rear tracks are metal, (The Tracks Company, CA). the front tracks, are the now discontinued, AD Boivin TraXion +, (Quebec, Canada.) I can still buy the track hard ware but not the rubber tracks from this company. Attached is 2 JPEG;s of my unit.

i did put the 2 " lift on mine but it was just too much so i added the HD springs up front took out the sag and now i can add a front rack without bottoming out the suspension. I am still debating cutting the frame where the mid axle would hit and put a 2 "lift there and replace the lightweight springs for heavier springs it would help engage the mid axle more but without turf mode like the newer ones have tear up the yard more in a turn. i do wish mine had IFS on the rear like the newer ones
