I'm a newbie to this Ranger stuff. I bought a used 2007 700 xp a month ago. So the other day I took her out for a ride on some paved back roads. I drove around for awhile in "L" at about 15 mph and then I decided to give it a little gas, and it seemed I couldn't get it to go above 30 mph. When it got to 30 the engine seemed to labor a bit. I took it out of low and put it in high and it ram fine.
Normal or problems?

Yo Marco, low is for 10 mph and under, you were probably hitting the rev limiter........over and over.....I almost never use low....Enjoy your new ride.....

30 MPH in low on a 2007?? you were running that engine pretty hard. Kris is right, you were hitting the rev limiter.

Ditto. I don't think my '06 would do 30 mph in low. Maybe, but the engine would've been SCREAMING. I'd say 20 mph would've been my top speed in low, but my '06 didn't have a speedo, so I really can't be sure and never used the GPS toconfirm top speed in low.
