2008 polaris ranger failing stalling whe. Going over 10mph.

Hello I have a 2008 polaris ranger 700xp. The problem with it is it won't go over 10mph. If you try going over 10mph it starts jerking then stalls. We have checked the fuel pump and determined its not the problem. We put new injectors in, fixed wires on the tbap sensor and put a new crank position sensor. We have also adjusted the tps sensor. The codes that show up are 22 and 25. If someone is able to help out I would greatly appreciate it.

JR, what is the actual fuel pressure ?

25 is a nothing code that turns up... but 22 is a TPS code that comes up when either the setting is out of range OR there is a TPS wire harness problem. Broken or chafing wire. Happens ALL the time...

I assume you are using an OEM TPS ?

The fuel pressure is 40psi and we just found out that when running the polaris ranger without the tps sensor connected it runs well. It will go over 10mph which it did not do before. What do you think the problem may be.

Sorry I'm not to familiar with these things what does a oem tps sensor mean.
A Polaris part rather than a Ebay/Ammazon knock off aftermarket part..

Original Equipment Manufacturer

No we are using after market from ebay.

For the TPS ? Ebay ?
Do we need the original one?
JR, not the 'original one' but very likely one from a Polaris parts dealer. A usable TPS from aftermarket sources has been hard to come by . Normally they cannot even be calibrated to the base setting of .528 VDC ..

Clear the codes by disconnecting the negative battery cable for 30 seconds ..

Thanks so much for the help. My other question is will it affect the crew ranger to run it without the tps sensor?
JR, are you sure it is the Throttle Position Sensor that is unplugged as I can't see it running decently for long without one ?

The TPS tells the ECU what the angle of the throttle plate is so it can adjust fuel & timing...

Yes the tps is disconnected. When disconnected it runs well. Does it affect the engine though to have it unplugged?

just in case you are over thinking this and missing something simple i'll ask, do you have the seat belt clicked in? I'm not sure about your model year but mine wont run over 12mph without the seatbelt clicked in place. not trying to insult anyone but sometimes the easy things like fuses etc get overlooked and we dig into things unnecessarily.

No we already look over the seat belt deal and it was not the problem. The problem is the TPS when it is connected it does not run well but when disconnected it runs perfectly.
