I have a 2010 Ranger Crew 800 and the dif lock and the 4X4 just stopped working. I did not abuse it at all, just worked one day and not the next. I have replaced the switch and checked the wiring after the switch. What is next? Any input is appreciated.

Thanks

If the switch is working, the wires aren't broken, and you're getting power to the diff', then you probably have an internal issue in the diff'. Have you checked and or changed the fluid lately? That would be my next step. This system does not like dirty fluid or water.

I have a 09 ranger hd and the same thing happened. I ran 12 volts to the diff. and it worked . So It must be the speedo or the computer. I checked the voltage coming out of the switch and the voltage was jumping between 6 and 9 volts.
