Has anyone figured where to get the seal that sits inside the splines in the pic above (borrowed pic). It is a metal seal that is covered with a thin layer of rubber. There is a part number on the seal that says ec-12500250 (I think). Polaris says the seal is only available with a new gear (parts 4&7) and cannot be sold separately. I believe this part just blocks the transfer of diff fluid out/water in. Like many have done, I had to hammer a stuck cv shaft through the other side of the diff. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Many seals can be matched at a good bearing house by taking the old seal to them. They can usually measure and match seals and bearings.
