I just changed my oil in the tranny, front, mid and rear axles, and motor as part of my first oil change.
Actually pretty simple. The hardest part was/ is trying to put oil into the mid axle, there is a gear that the oil splashes off of and ends up back out the fill hole..

Has anyone encountered this and what is the fix? Any special tricks/ tools?

try using a turkey injector with a small hose,not the needle.Or you can fill through the vent hose.

I used a long narrow funnel and poured slow, no problems here. I do find it incredibly stupid that Polaris engineers use large drain plugs for the mid diff, engine, tranny, and front diff, but the rear diff gets a tiny bastard plug. Heaven forbid they use the same plug everywhere.

Yeah 4 different plugs on one machine just for changing oil is a little ridiculous. As is the ever expanding tool bag. Thank god for that extra cargo box!!! Don't know where else my tool bag would fit.

Good ideas will try it next year when I get ready for hunting again..
