I have a 2014 ranger that has very high miles on it. I have been through four Voltage regulators since 2014. I have number 5 and after install he has not changed my issue. The last one all three yellow wires melted off the regulator near the regulator itself. The ranger is not charging at all and I am running on 100% battery. What do I need to do to test the stator on the machine? If the stator is bad anything I need to know about replacing it? Also if there is a way to test the new regulator, I know not all new parts are good.
