Hello all,

I just got back from hunting in Montana. I have a 2014 Crew with 1200 miles. I had to use four wheel drive for a couple of days and the four wheel drive stopped working…..well maybe not completely but it started to make a grinding noise. It was weird because the grinding noise would only start when maybe the front wells started to spin. The best we could tell the noise was coming from the passenger front. We would not have any noise and then when I would try and feather the throttle to keep the tires from spinning and they start to spin we would get the noise. the four wheel drive seemed to keep working when we would hear the noise but there was definately grinding. I almost tend to believe that maybe there are splines on the half shaft or something like that and maybe they were getting rounded off and when under torque they would slip……… not sure if any of that makes sense, but just something I was coming up with???? To be clear I have the marshall motoart 3" lift installed…..

Thanks for any and all help.
