This has probably been covered before but I have to ask. When I am riding around with no load and not under any load I have noticed the cooling fan cycles quite a bit with the engine temp peaking at 206 or 207. I am pretty sure that this is normal. I was just wondering if there is any ideas out there to lower this engine temp. I only have 130 hours on it and it has never been overheated. I was just thinking about the longevity of my engine. I don't want to cook anything.

Actually, that is pretty normal for an 800. My '11 800 peeks about there, then cools down to ~196 with the fan--has since day one. I did add some Water Wetter and it "seemed" to extend the fan cycling a bit. Normal riding at normal temps/loads, my fan cycles about every 3/4 minutes or so; more when it's hotter, less when it's cooler.
