Hi guys, I have a 2014 ranger that the fan is intermittent. All of a sudden it will say its getting hot and go into limp mode. After turning it off for just a few seconds and restarting it, the fan generally comes back on and brings the temp back down and goes off, and then doesn't come back on after it heats up. Its not showing any other signs of over heating beside the gauge and limp mode. but fan isn't coming on when the temp gets to 204 as it should. I have tested the fan and its fine, also replaced the relay but it didn't fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If sounds like the 20 amp circuit breaker. I am assuming the wiring is the same as the earlier 800s. I have replaced mine twice for the same symptoms you are describing. The circuit breaker resets when you recycle the power to it. There are some threads discussing this issue. It is located in the wiring harness bundle near the fuse box.

You can buy these at NAPA or most any automotive parts house.
