New to the ranger, but not to the sxs scene. Had lots of RZR's with my last being a custom Jagged X so I was looking for a little more power and have read some that tested this but have not ready any first hand result. Sounds like the 2014 900 crew does not have a restrictor in the intake like most of the older models and they are restricting it to about 70 % throttle opening, and governing it with the ECM. Anyone try it or know 100% Ill order one. Just getting started with getting some goodies on this thing

Nice looking Ranger, I came from an XP4 900 to a ranger crew 900 and I really miss the power. I don't think theres any real big HP mod that can be done, these things are more farm hand oriented than sport. I do love having all the storage and bed, it makes the loss of HP worth while.
I installed ranger xp 900 ecm. Wasnt much for power gains just raise the topspeed. I backed of at 55

Good to know. I wondered if it added power through the range, or just top. Not much need for top end only unless on blacktop. Suspension would not handle trail riding here at that speed. I would need the jagged back! Guess I will just leave it alone and play the way it is. Thanks
