I just installed one last night. Install is really easy and the kit tells you to set the shocks at the highest level. I kept mine at the softest/lowest and gained 1 3/4" lift with the brackets alone. I am going to raise the shocks to the middle setting, or 3rd notch (1-5 notches) and should be around 2-2.5" of total lift. I believe top shock setting will ride harsh and want to keep a smoother ride. So for me smoother ride over height. But I like the kit and everything is heavy duty. It was worth the $125 IMO. Crappy pic but all I have now. 28s and sitting at 1.75" lift.

Well that's pretty ******. So all they are giving you is a basic 2" lift and you are gaining your other 1" from factory shock settings. I'd look somewhere else for a true 3". Yes you gonna pay more but you are getting a true 3" and keeping soft ride

Yeah wasn't expecting to have to crank my shock to the max to reach 3". But this is how all bracket lift are I guess. My buddy has a 2" HL and same way. Motoart same way to get 2.5.
I'm happy with 2-2.5" lift and not cranking my shocks though. Can't use anything bigger then this lift for my garage to be honest.

Well.idk what yall are doing but every 3" and 2" bracket lift I've ever installed was only .25" from the stated lift height. I've never seen a company say you had to crank your shocks to achieve their lift lol.

Well my instruction did say just that and on the softest setting I only gained 1.75". So looks like shit has change since 2012

Actually pal, I install them.all the time. Your instructions say that cause satv is shit. Message backwoods, outkast, highlifter, etc and ask them if you are supposed to crank shocks on their lofts to acquire their stated lift. Wanna bet on what they tell.you?

Not being a dick by any means bud. But out of the 2 companies I really looked into SATV and motoart, both ended up needing shocks to be adjusted. Called HL and you are right they don't. BA doesn't either on their 2-4" adjustable. Only looked at the other 2 because I was wanting a 2.5" or 3" for the price of HL 2". I was told "all bracket lifts are the same" guess that wasn't the case after all. Might be asking SATV about their return policy.

Sorry bout that seemed like you was being that way, I wasn't trying either lol. But yeah if that kit cost more then their normal 2" kit I'd ask for reinbursment

No worries littlebig...typing doesn't come across right all the time lol. Anyways, I will keep the lift for now and adjust my shocks half way and see if I'm happy with the ride and height. Thanks all of the advice and sorry OP for high jacking your thread.

I don't have any new pics with the Terms but this is what it looked like when i had 31 outlaws on it. Only reason i went to Terms is for the smoother ride. Land vehicle Vehicle Tire All-terrain vehicle Motor vehicle

The Highlifter kit is a 4" and gives you another inch if not more than the superatv lift and is only $10 more. Plus i got my HL lift on sale for $120.
