I had the Ranger down to the woodlot today. I wanted to cut up a couple of trees that came down across 1 of the trails during the winter. Cut up a maple that was partially down but not accessible during the summer due to swampy conditions. The ice was still solid. So I was able to cut it up as well.

Also swapped the cards in the trail cams. The deer have returned from their wintering area off our property.

Nice pictures, Thanks for sharing.

You have a full range of critters up your way. I have been trying for a picture of a bobcat, but no luck yet. 20 plus years ago their was sign of a larger kitty in the river bottoms. Their is always talk but no sign lately.

Their is bear in northern IL. and MO. ,so one day we will see here too. ( southern IL. )

There are sightings in Ontario of large cats, but never any great evidence. We saw 4 ruffed grouse on Sat' as well, but have never gotten a pic of 1. I have seen pics that guys have of them though.

Down to the woodlot on Sun' and cut a couple of trees for firewood, hauled out a trailer load of wood and rerouted a trail around a mudhole. Swapped the cards in the trail cams too.

The racks on the bucks are just starting to show.
