First, I am not a mechanical individual
I asked our local Polaris dealer regarding a lift for my 2017 Ranger XP1000
They suggested a 4 inch Highlifter kit with 29 inch wheels.
Would this require any changes to the rest of my Ranger (clutch problems, etc...)

Welcome J.man. Do you want to go that big? Or just dealer wanting to sell you stuff? 4 inches is a little hard on axles and cv's. You can go 2" and 28's and and be pretty much not have to worry so much.

I agree with RJ. Look up Marshall motoart . They make a very nice 2 and a 1/2 in lift for rangers.easy to install. If you go with a 29in tire more than likely it will measure 28in which is a big improvement over stock. I just put on 28 and they measure just over 27

jan man i would not do the hl lift terrible ride
mma lift with lightest tires you can find bear claw ,zilla ,mud light .try to stay under 40 lbs
my humble opinion
