2017 xp1000 starts the dies

That one has the flat air filter so.......possibly low compression. Compression and leak down test if the fuel pressure checks out.

Take a look at the regulator on the pump assembly. It should say 400 kpa on it. You may have a 300 kpa regulator in both pumps.
