If you don't already have them, I'd do more digging. I was very disappointed to find out my 30" Motos were only 28.5". That said, i don't think your 28s will run true to height. I've cleared 27's no problem, but 28's will rub on tight turns.

Thats kinda the reason I asked. I have some Moto attack tires now. The mtc looks pretty much the same. The might be the same tire. I really like the way they look on the ranger but really wanting something a little bigger. Was going to go ahead and put 27's on till I came across this pic in the Pics of your 900's thread. Said it was stock height but with 28's. Mine are 26" but only measure like 24.5 to 25 inches after 800 miles.

I have 28" MTC on my rig and they did rub some at start when of camber and steering bottomed out. But after a few miles on pavement I switched the backs to the front and problem solved. And yes, unless something drastic has happened, the Moto MTC do not measure a true 28" tall. Just a little bigger ?

That's my pic. I'm still running those tires on stock suspension with no problems. They do rub a little when turning sharp and off camber, but it's barely rubbing on the plastic inner fenders. I've measured them and they are pretty close to 28". They also perform very well in the mud and sand where we ride, also on the rocks.

Bringing this back from the dead as I just ordered up a set of 28" MTC's in the 15" version on 15" STI HD5 beadlock rims. Should be here next week.

Read online for hours before deciding on these, other candidates were the Blackwater EVO's, Bighorns, and Viprs which are all great tires I'm sure just liked the look of these so BANG pulled the trigger
