Has anyone installed a 4 point harness on a Ranger XP1000 Crew? I have a handicapped daughter that has no upper body control, the regular seat belts just aren't sufficient for her. Looking to install a harness and just wondering if it can be done on a ranger crew.

I am currently overseas and will take delivery of my 2019 20th Anniversary Edition Crew when I get in at the end of the month. I emailed the dealer and he said Polaris doesn't have an option for this. Any suggestions?

Thanks

The harnesses are pretty easy to come by, the tricky part is installing them correctly. RZRs all pretty much come stock with harness mounting hardeware, Rangers don't. You would do well to read this article to get a general idea of proper harness installation. Pirate4x4.Com - The largest off roading and 4x4 website in the world. . I had them in my '11 800XP and had to get an aftermarket mounting bar. You'll have to do the same with your new unit. Here's one; https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/...c2BghsRhuHNY3zf0eB3kVxlMV_bRY3OBoCHHgQAvD_BwE . Another point worth considering is the thickness of the harness straps. I got 3" ones and wish I had gotten 2" ones instead. The 3" ones are bulky, heavy, and a bit uncomfortable. For your application, I would consider 2", w/pads.
