If you have a midsize 570, there is an interior cab shelf on the passenger side that is virtually useless because everything you put in there ends up on the floor. Just thinking of how to make this functional. I'm considering of mounting some kind of netting in front of it so that it holds things in place. What have you done with this space?

I have thought about that space many times and considered adding a 2" plastic lip across the front to contain items as you mentioned.

That 2" lip would work and that may be the easiest. I was thinking more of a net with an elastic band and I've got one around here if I can find it from one of our Tahoes. That way it would give a bit. I don't think I want to put the radio there as I was thinking up top for it and speakers.

Ok, I finally got around to doing this. I got this 15"x15" 2" cargo netting from Amazon and mounted it on the front of the shelf of my 570 crew. As you can see, I'm neither a perfectionist nor a pragmatist, but this will work to keep stuff contained.

I'm certain the fit and finish would be much better with the OEM netting. I'm still waiting for Polaris to make poly rear doors for the 2015 570 Crew. ;)

That shelf looks like it would SUCK!!! i personally cant imagine it being there..hell thats where my heater is! I WOULD cut it outta there! lol
I agree, I saw that shelf on the 2015 mid size models and I need that space on my 2014 for my dog or leg room. Plus it didn't look like it holds much and with no netting makes it more of a pain than anything.

What did you use pop rivets?

No, I used self tapping metal screws. You certainly could drill some holes and put in those plastic rivets and it would likely look better.

WagZ it was worthless or worst, but with the net it is now functional. We put some binoculars, three water bottles and other stuff and it rode fine.

Maybe Polaris thought the 570s were going to be used as golf carts. I remember seeing the 570 for the 1st time & thinking boy that is useless for a vehicle that sees very rugged terrain.
