570 update

1966 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  alloutdoors
My 570 crew is nearly 5 months old with 15 hours and did all the service recommended within the manual (engine, front- and rear-differential, grease the machine, and cleaned the air cleaner). In addition, I decided to remove the belt cover and was very pleased, i.e., very clean.

Also, I'm posting a new (hand made locally) headache rack.

Jm2c, and of course it depends on where you ride. May not be the case, but looks that way in the pic.
The rack needs to be below the roof line, if you catch a branch or something, it will probably bust your bed.(depending on how it is anchored)
And if you have a glass rear panel, it may take it out as well.
Originally, I had a ladder rack made 1/2" higher than the roof, so I could carry materials on the rack and avoid it riding/touching the roof. I now have a nice trailer for those items and modified this one, and plan to have it brought down.
