This is the 3rd time I've went into the overhead on this particular 570 in 500 hours for tight exhaust valve lash. (Engine dies after warming up). I just bought the shortest tappet they had (460) and it barely got my lash back into spec. Not sure what I can do next time.

Out of 5 of these 570s we have owned so far, it seems that about 50% Of them need some sort of valve lash attention by 300-500 hours, while the others almost need no attention at all, ever. I've checked one machine at 2000 hours just because I figured I should, and found it to be perfectly within spec.

Why some and not others? What are you other 570 owners seeing?
