I have found one issue with the machine so far and have not had a chance to look into it. I can not drive at slow speeds since the throttle tip-in is very abrupt and it lunges more than gradually slips-i, making low speed driving difficult. I am wondering if it's the thottle cable adjustment, and if anyone else has had the same issue. I look like someone trying to pull off in a manual transmission vehicle who has never driven one![:D]

it has to do with the way the clutch and the belt work.. if you put in a stiffer throttle spring it will make it a little easier to control, but i think alot of that is just the nature of the beast.. as the belt gets broken in it shouldnt be as predominant as it is now.
i'm sure somebody may have a tweak for the clutch to help, but i dont know what that is..
my golf cart used to lunge like that on a new belt and it's the same kind of deal.. it got better with time..
then i jerked the motor out and put in a bigger one with a tranny so it got much better then :)

Matt, drive it for a while and then revisit the issue. The ones in Minnesota, some complained about the same thing. But, the one I drove I thought was perfect. And, I am not used to the EFI motors, so a touchy throttle would have been real evident to me. I think it may change some as the belt breaks in. At least on my well broken in RZR, I didn't notice that. Of course, the smile was so broad that it could have been affecting my thinking!!

I think I will give it some time. I am putting an hour a day on it in the 7 acres or so I have to ride on (there is rolling field next to my house) with the kids to break it in without any full thottle, so I think I will have a good 12-15 hours at least before it sees the trail, and maybe even 25 and the first oil change if I can get more people over to "test ride" (had 2 tonight!) If I am still not happy at that point I will have the dealer look into it to see if they have any luck.

Matt,
What Bruce said, I didn't have a problem with the one I drove either. I would think after "breakin" you should be fine. I know with my Ranger when the belt was new you noticed a big difference for the first 10 hours or so, probably the same deal with a RZR.

I hear ya Matt, but like has been mentioned, 'its an acquired taste.' I keep getting better at feathering the throttle every time I drive it.
