Has anyone added the drivers side adjustable seat slide option ? My girl friend at 5'1" +- drives my ranger occasionally and always mentions how much better it would be if it adjusted.

The 'base' model XP just like a base model car or truck doesn't come with it. It must be the LX(fancy) models that have it standard.

The OEM adjustable seat parts are pretty expensive, total apprx $ 450.
Polaris did have this in the accessory catalog, but I can not find it. I believe in the accessory catalog the cost was either $349 or $399.
Also just a FYI, the adjuster raises the seat apprx 2-3 inches.

Not sure about the Rangers, but you can buy the adjustable base for the RZR's. I'm not sure how much they cost, but seems like I saw a price of $150 a while back.
As Toxic mentioned, it does raise the seat by a couple of inches.

Good find, I just overlooked it. It is still available in kit form for $169.99.
Does not fit standard models with one piece bench seat, 13'-15'.
I will check and see what is in the kit, there is a huge price difference between the kit and the seat base slider assembly.

My seat back is solid. My seat bottom is split , unlatches and flips up. To make it work properly. I'd guess I'd have to buy the split seat back. I did see the seat adjuster on Amazon and a sidexside site for the rzr...but not the Ranger.

That would be correct.
The seat adjuster for the Ranger is different than the RZR. ( same principle, different design).
I'm not sure on your seat color ( I'm assumeing it is black).

My 2017 XP 900 Ranger came with a slider seat that I absolutely cannot get to slide. I pulled the seat out have it sitting on my shop floor. The catch lever doesn't seem to engage in anything. Can anyone help?

You're probably not going to be able to adjust it when it's sitting on the ground, if it is anything like my seat it takes some force. Reinstall it, move the lever on the front when you're seated in it and then while holding the lever try to shift forward and it should move.
If I remember correctly there isn't much that catches the release lever, it's just some small louvers in the track assembly.
I probably should have prefaced that my unit is a 2014 and I do not know if the 2017 is any different. If you can post some pictures of the seat tracks and lever then I can confirm.

My seat does not move without a tremendous amount of force. Pulled it apart a lubricated everything, which helped but still wasn't easy. This lasted until the first time I washed it, two days later back to what it was before. I know greasing it would probably last longer, but I don't want that greasy mess getting all over everything and attracting all the dust which makes it even worse after awhile.
