In reading the number of post on dust/dirt entering the air box and causing major engine issues coupled to the water issues (rain, especially during transportation) on 900’s, I was thinking why not relocate the air intake, essentially what is done for snorkel? If not going the snorkel route, has anyone just rerouted the fresh air intake and/or box to the front, i.e., under the hood, similar to what you might see in a vehicle? Ultimately, I was thinking of just getting the air box into a much more accessible area to clean/service, but would require a long 2” tube back to the engine and unsure what issues if any that may present on my unit, a crew, so curious about thoughts on this modification.

Take a look at the 2011-2013 500 crew intake system. It's the same setup you wanna run. The 500 has the air box in the rear but the actual intake come from the front under the hood. Maybe you could order the factory hose and box for the 500 and make it work on the 570? I don't see it being something hard to do at all
