title says it all been trying to find any research and opinions on these lifts and cant find much around the web, does anyone run them or have any feedback on them, they look like a great idea
thanks but i read that allready yuo said that 6 of you ordered have yall got them on yet and if so how are they holding up, im very interested in this setup becasue seems everyone around here that does big lifts seems to break axles and difffs more than they ride so i wanta now if these working like advertisedif you type portal gear lift in the search box you will find a thread with 88 comments. me and 6 others grouped up and ordered 7 kits for Rangers, Razors, and some type of commander. for what i do in the AK i think they will be awesome.
What flavor did you order? We ordered 7 kits and they have not arrived yet. Unless you order something from Amazon stuff takes forever to be trucked to alaska. i will be installing mine right away and a few of the other guys are going to wait till summer to put them on. For what we went thru last september hunting we sure are excited about the reduction of strain on the drive train.
Sounds like you went with RockCrusher. Here is what we ordered. 1 kit for 2015 Ranger 900, 2 kits for 2010 crews, 1 kit for 2012 Ranger xp, 1 kit for 2015 Ranger crew, 1 kit 2013 Razor and 1 kit for a commander. We paid $2200 a kit. for now i will hold off telling where we ordered from, not sure if i am going to give them good publicity or bad at the moment we are not completelty satisfied with the service. as i stated before we have not recieved them yet and upfront talks was 3-4 weeks we paid $15,400 in 1 phone call and now were coming up on 9 weeks and they still have not arrived. you'll see me post if things don't work out.
No I'm not.Wish we had a heads up on that one. Are you the Boogers Toxic Toys?
It will probably be in your best interest, to contact and purchase from Chris at SxS gear.Any updates on these portal lifts. I am really ready to pull the trigger on a set for my 900 crew. I also have search all over for info/reviews.
Seems like Rockcrusher LLC and SxS gear LLC are the two companies selling them. Rockcrusher cost 2899.99 and have 12 mos warranty.
Sxs gear wants 3495 and offers a 6 month warranty. 600 bucks more and 6 mos less warranty. Anyone ever deal with either of these companies?
I seriously doubt he has received them.Yes, I saw that Akwood order a few from rockcrusher and it took 9 weeks or so. He hasn't posted in almost a month so I assume he received his lifts and he is happy.
I waited 2 months for arched a-arms from Outkast in Georgia to ship to FL. And its the same deal from backwoods. I am just curious if sxs gear is 600.00 better?
he said he would post if things don't work out. Here is what we ordered. 1 kit for 2015 Ranger 900, 2 kits for 2010 crews, 1 kit for 2012 Ranger xp, 1 kit for 2015 Ranger crew, 1 kit 2013 Razor and 1 kit for a commander.
