Sup folks,

Buddy of mine got an EPI kit in this buggy, made a real difference, even i as a passenger could feel the difference, and i dunno the machine that well.

Ive found them pretty cheap, under 150 bucks shipped to the house and ive really kicked the idea around about getting one, has anyone here ever installed one? Any input on them as to how they do? I havent chosen between the Sport or the mudder kit, but the mudder kit sounds liek its more my style as it'll really gear the ranger lower. Would cut down my top speed (which i dont mind) and seems to add a great deal of torque.

No, i cannot afford the duraclutch, or id have one..trust me. haha.

I JUST intstalled the Dalton Clutch kit from Hunterworks this past weekend. I also went with the low spring. Installed the primary and secondary on the bike, had it done in a hour.
I like it!

Buddy put the larger tire kit in his 700....running 27 Mud Lites. Can't imagine how the mudder kit would act cuz the secondary in his kit is one stiff sumbewatch! Really holds the shift out back and makes high gear more usable at lower speeds .... and scream at 40mph.Actually thinking about ordering the next softer spring. Makes me think the mudder kit would be a bit much, unless you were a full time mudder that is.

I use the EPI kit. Red primary with a black/yellow secondary and 90gr weights. It's a good kit for $200 but won't rid the engagement issue from a stop.

Personally I'd swap out the secondary for a Team Tied. The factory inverted boss plate is a POS. That is the direction I will be going after a skid plate.

Anyone know why EPI doesn't list the 570 ranger full size for sport utility clutchs? They list 570 rng mid, mid crew, RZR, and sportsman. So which one could I use? Thanks.

For the 800 you can't go wrong with an EPI kit. I was very happy with the gains I got for the price. Yes you can do better but not without spending alot more $$$

I have the EPI kit. Stiffer springs and slightly heavier weights. If you're having trouble deciding what you want, call the guys at EPI. They're very helpfull and knowledgeable. Tell them what you want your machine to do and what size/weight tires you're running. You can mix up your kit to customize how ever you want it.
