I have been looking at wheel/tire combos for my 2014 Xp900. I am considering a 14" aluminum rim with 28"x10"x14" Kanati Mongrels. I am wondering if anyone has run this kit without lift? Any issues with rubbing? Also, does having all 4 tires (front and rear) the same size affect handling or anything? what are the pros/cons of 4 tires same size. I currently have a 14" vader rim with Maxxis bighorns, and love this combo. However, i do a lot of road riding and have heard the mongrels are the way to go. Any input is helpful! Thanks in advance!

I have the 28/10/14 Kanati Mongrels on STI HD beadlocks. They work just fine with only minimal rubbing. They arent my favorite tire but if youre on the road a lot they are a great option.
What don't you like about them? I'm unsure about paying $1k for the set not knowing anyone who has had them. I love the bighorns and i'm considering another set of those, i just thought these might suit me better.

Anyone with 28" Tires, no lift?

If you're on pavement a lot then the mongrels are great. Pavement will really eat up the bighorns though. If I was on dirt all the time I wouldn't consider the mongrels and would much prefer bighorns. I like the feel and performance of the bighorns much more.
