Shocks are turned all the way up but not in the higher bracket. will that make that big of a differance? and yes it is the stock bumper.

I ran into this same issue. I put on BA arms and 28" zilla's on the stock 12's. I like the ride pretty soft, so I was on the inner hole about middle preload. I ended up having to get a highlifter 2" lift and only lifted the front. I installed the brackets to the inner side which is opposite of what the instructions call for, and left preload in about the middle setting and all is well. Ranger sits about level with the rear in the inner hole, about middle preload.

thats what i am looking at doing now is add a lift. i would also like to keep my ride level and soft. when you are talking pre load are you refering to the spring adjuster? think im headed out not to move to outter hole and see if i can just get away with that for now. Thinking about the BA 2"-4" lift.........
