I have a headliner in my full size 570 and was curious if the Big Sky duel overhead gun rack can still be installed? Since the liner floats lower that the plastic roof a little in some areas was curious.

It attaches to the cage via self taping screws on each side.
Can you take some pics? I am interested in this topic too. I already purchased the rack, the dual model made for utv,s and as you know, they are made for round tubes not the pro fit cage. I need to figure out how to make this work. Not sure if i need to swap out the utv version for the truck version, which may attach as you describe, not sure.

I have the Big Sky BSR-2 Roof Weapons Mount. All I did was mount the rack to some flat stock then bolted it to cross members. There's about half an inch between rack and headliner. Not sure how different the pro-steel roof is with yours though.

It looks like it will not work for the sport roof w/ headliner. The headliner contours to the roof as well as sits lower too. With the headliner I also lose the rear braces behind the liner. I guess on to plan B once I figure one out;o

Just a thought. Mine is flush on top of the cross members. It's plenty strong enough to also be mounted a 1/4" or less, not sure without measuring lower on bottom side of cross member. If you get some button head or rounded bolts it should mount just fine and barely push on your poly roof with liner. I wasn't to big on the ones described above being mounted from the door jams and wanted to still remove roof, hence I mounted it like Greg above and a few others on here. Just my two cents.

Like so. With the half windshield I couldn't go behind it with the new modular cage.
