I bought two different gun racks to mount on my ranger and didn't like either one for what I do. Never used never mounted. I pulled them both out of the boxes then put them back in after I did a test fit. I paid $90 for the BSR2 and $120 for the SBR-2g-utv.

Asking:

Big Sky BSR-2 $70

Big Sky SBR-2G-UTV $90

I'll pay regular post office shipping in the contiguous US as long as its not some crazy address that's kicking back an extreme rate cost for me. I figure $20 should pay shipping on either of these.

Let me know, these shouldn't last long with me paying shipping.

Here they are: Amazon.com : Big Sky BSR-2 Horizontal Non-Locking 2 Gun Rack, Black Finish : Gun Racks And Accessories : Sports & Outdoors

and: http://www.amazon.com/Big-Sky-Racks...7&sr=8-1&keywords=big+sky+gun+rack+SBR-2g-utv

Just in case those links don't work just plug those model numbers in amazon and they pull right up.

For now im still on the hunt for something. Im gonna visit a couple shops coming up and see some Kolpin boots and various mounts etc here when I get a chance but so far im still looking.

The SBR-2 would work but didn't want to drill into my thin plastic roof. The other would've probably been ok but there was gonna be some interference with my doors that I have etc.

I was thinking about doing something like this for hunting then I got to thinking about it I'm not sure my custom built rifle would fit 28 inch barrel and not sure I would want a 4k dollar gun it it lol...

I just ordered a Greatday utv overhead gun rack from Gearup2go. No drilling required. Hopefully it will work out. You might want to Google it if you are still in the market for one.

I bought mine from Sure Grip Gun & Bow Racks and they work great. I've used it with both my AR's so far and they haven't come loose yet despite banging over some pretty rough terrain.

I have the Big Sky BSR-2 and very pleased with it. I did put a couple small holes in my roof backed with fenders washers, sealed it good no problems what so ever. I carry a 22 rifle all the time and some times a 30-30 or my Beneilli 12 gauge Semi Automatic. No problems what so ever. Guns fit well in the rack.

hey, does the BSR-2 bolt directly through the Sport POLY roof of the midsize Ranger and does it come with the bolts and rubber seals? PM me.

Not sure how u would be drilling into the roof with this rack. It is designed to extend to the outer edges of the roof roll cage from the driver side to the passenger side. I didnt love the idea of drilling holes in my new 900 but it was 3-4 small selve tapping screws and it was no big deal. Rack fits perfectly, is solid, has plenty of head room and works well. It it not attached to the roof at any point as i take my roof on and off

What i dont know is whether this rack will carry a ar15. Havent tried but want to
