Anybody know what the largest size tire I can put on stock rims are for the front and back. What I have now r stock 25x8x12 and 25x11x12. Front and back r different sizes what's thw reason for. Are all 4 rims the same size and the rubber is a different size. Clueless when it comes to wheel sizes. Any info would be great. Trying to learn as much as I can about it all.. I have a 13 800 midsize ranger. Thanks for the help

I'll try to keep this short and sweet but if you have any additional questions about wheel sizes feel free to PM me directly. The factory wheels measure the following...

Front: Height = 12"; Width = 6"; Offset = 4+2

Rear: Height = 12"; Width = 8"; Offset = 6+2

Height - Measured in inches at the outer edge of the wheel; measured straight across (ie. up and down)

Width - Measured in inches at the inner edge of the wheel to the outer edge of the wheel; measured straight across (ie. left and right)

Offset - Measured in inches; 1st number is measured from the inner edge to the back of the face plate; 2nd number is measured from the front of the face plate to the outer edge; 1st number always represents the spacing of the backside of the wheel while the 2nd number always represents the spacing from the front side of the wheel

In full stock form (ie. no aftermarket lift or OEM wheels) you should be able to run up to 27x10x12 tires in the front and 27x12x12 tires in the rear, safely.

On stock wheels you can't run a 10" wide front tire, it will rub tie rod end.

Thanks bud, I got off on a tangent with what would fit the wheels and forgot about what would fit on the unit! lol littlebigrancher is correct, a 10" wide tire on the OEM front wheel will not clear the tie-rod ends on either side. The minimum of a 1" wheel spacer would be required for this setup.

I have a 2015 570 midsize I have stock rims with NO lift. I have 27x9x12 on front and 27x12x12 on the rear. Im running swamp lites, On the 570 you CAN NOT go wider than 9 on stock rims on the front unless you add spacers because it has 1/4 inch or less clearance between the tie rod and the tire.
