Everyone remember that starting 24 hours before the flight time, you can go online and check in and print your boarding pass. You can do it at the airport but it is just easier and more relaxing to do it at home. If it doesn't work or something happens in the process, no worries, just check in at the airport. You will need the numbers that I have listed on here on the flight info thread. You also will need a valid driver's license for ID purposes. Remember to leave items such as pocket knives and pepper spray and shoe bombs at home!!
] Also, if you bring liquid items like soap, shampoo, lotion, etc., it must fit into a quart size ziplock bag. One quart bag per person. You then remove it from your carry on and place it in a tray by itself to go through security. Any electronics, such as cell phones, laptops, dvd players, watches, go ahead and remove them and put into their own tub as well. Also, just be prepared when you get into the security line. Have your license and your boarding pass ready. Have your shoes unlaced and ready to slip off and you must remove any jackets and caps. All this goes through the x-ray machine. Once through security, you won't have to do it again until your return flight. If you are changing planes, you are still in the secure area.
So, it sounds like a lot, but it is not too bad. I am just trying to think of everything that might help you. I recommend arriving at least 90 minutes before your flight time. I try to get there 2 hours before, but that is just me. You don't want to be late, that is for sure. The boarding of the airplane starts 30 minutes prior to departure and you have to be there by 15 minutes prior to departure. Good luck.
