Yea so how do I go about the easy way to remove it? I saw a vid in YouTube that shows a guy rolling it off the secondary, but I feel like that stretches the belt prematurely.

Any ideas? And this is on the 570 as well if that helps.

You are not going to stretch that belt in the least, I promise. They'll burn up and break. But you ain't gonna stretch it. So you can roll it on off there, and not worry. But if you can spread the secondary clutch sheaves, it'll make it much easier to remove and install. It is possible to force the secondary open, by pushing the belt down into the sheaves. If you have a belt laying around that you're not gonna use anymore, I've seen some folks cut a small section and use that to push in between the sheaves, when removing old belt, to hold them apart while you can more easily get new belt on there. Most effortless way would be to get yourself a clutch puller for the primary.
It's a shame Polaris doesn't put roller secondaries on all their machines, makes it sooo much easier.

Just grab the top of belt and yank up, it'll spread the secondary a little and then just roll it off. I do it all the time

Definitely. My RZR has one and it even came with a little tool to open it. Makes changing belts a breeze.

These CVT belts don't stretch. You could slip one over the ball of your pickup, tie a chain to it and pull your buddy out of a mud hole and it more than likely wouldn't break. They're tough.

I've rolled belts on, but actually the easiest way I've found is to remove the secondary, which is easy. Then install the new belt on the primary, slip it over the secondary and as you're trying to thread it back on the shaft, slip it on maybe 1/2 inch, then pry the secondary toward the rear of the machine. This will pull the belt down into the sheaves and give you some slack. now you can slip the secondary on the rest of the way and get it splined in. I leave the transmission in gear so it will spline on with a little back and forth. Then install your bolt and it's done!

I've beat the knuckles off of my hand too many times doing it the other way, and I'm tired of bleeding.

I haven't noticed if the same tool is inclluded w/ the Rangers.

BRP has been drilling & tapping a hole the the secondaries of their Ski-doos for years. A M6 "jackscrew" is used to spread the secondary & ease belt removal & installation.

This tool looks like a spanner wrench for the shocks, but it is for the secondary.

Not the best video, but the only 1 I could find w/ my model of sled:

He definitely needed a helper for a cameraman or jury rig a tripod/stand for the camera. Footage of the toolkit while you're doing something isn't helpful.

Not sure if the is the same on the 570, but see
Now that is how a video should be done. I guess the secondary used on the 500s is different. The shock spanner is just that, no notch on the handle to assist belt removal/installation.
