I was headed to go cut firewood today. On my 50 mph venture down the the road my belt exploded and for wrapped up in the clutches. And locked the wheels or wheel up since it was in turf mode. Sent me on a sideways skid and just before I rolled the twisted up belt shrapnel broke loose. Needless to say I'm very lucky. And had to change my shorts. I will be checking my belt often now. Something you dont think about to look at could be so dangerous

Very lucky guy... glad your ok! it that belt hadn't broke free, you'd be really hurt, or you'd most likely own a sizable amount of Polaris Industries depending on the lawyer. lol

Can't say of all the years I've had that vintage of machine that a broken belt ever resulted in clutch lockup, but there's a first for everything!

glad to hear you're OK!
