2011 800 Crew with error code 636.

I cranked it up today and drove it about 100 yards and killed it. Got back in it 5 minutes later and it would not start. It would just turn over and try to start but wouldn't. Check engine code came up with a 636 (Crankshaft Position Sensor). Checked all the wiring and all looks good. I read on this form on another thread and it said 560 ohms between white and yellow and 0 ohms on the black wire to ground. I am getting the 560 ohms but getting 1.8 Meg Ohms on the black to ground. Does this sound like I actually have a bad sensor?

I would suspect you might be correct. You might consider visiting a local dealer and give them the same information to confirm or they may point you in a different direction.
