To me, this was the race that I've been waiting for; as JaggedX has been the only company to date out of all these Polaris partners who has actually spent the money and taken the time to come out here and talk to us all consistently on a one on one basis. Again, I hate to be the one who continually has to bring things like this up; but I'm out here looking to build a long-term business relationship with somebody regarding these machines and I see these guys as acting like Brian and Matt did back in '04 with the Rhino launch.
Thanks for the update; as I think there are a lot of people out here wondering if this was finally the race where things were put together in a manner that we would all expect and that info will be forthcoming on any 'quirks' that we may have to deal with.
Information is a two way-street with all of us out here who like to give our opinion to manufacturers on these things (as the PRC trip just demonstrated) and we need vendors like JX who come back from real-life experiences like these to complete the circle; just as the PRC staff is about to do with our questions solicited earlier.

I think Polaris was very smart to get the aftermarket involved early, not necessarily to race the machine (since they are likely competing against some well-sorted out competition, given the head start they are working with, along with tons of readily available mods), but to allow them to have aftermarket parts coming down the line to get the enthusists or potential racers some options to work with. I am in no way trying to be negative about the finish, even though I thought my comment was a valid one. If it were a Prowler we were speaking about on a Pro-Polaris Forum, I would expect I would not be alone in thinking that the last place finish (among those still in the race, and this is no small feat I am sure) would not be exactly a slam dunk sucess. Still, I am sitting here on the couch, and not out there busting my you-know-what to prove the mettle of the machine. I do compliment Jagged for taking the challenge, and I hope to see more reports about results soon. I would be interested to know about any info pertaining to the belt issue, since it could apply to those of us planning on using them out there in the field later on, and we all know there are literally dozens, if not hundreds of people who want to see the RZR turn out to be an inferior machine, if for no other reason that they own brand Y. The funny thing is, I love that brand too, and I would like to see more people in that camp accepting of the advantages having a worthy competitor will bring in terms of updates to their machine as well.
